Art My Word
A celebration of Art, Storytelling and Community. Art My Word is an art challenge open to artists. Each person participating receives a random second-hand book to use as a source of inspiration for a new artwork. Free interpretation and free choice of medium.
Art My Story:
This section of Art My Word celebrates storytellers. Our writers get a kit to inspire them to write a new piece of work. In 2023 all stories were published in a book called Art My Story, thanks to a Redland City Council grant.
Art My Photo:
This is our latest component of Art My Word and was introduced in 2023. Photographers were invited to submit any random photo from anywhere around the world, to help inspire storytellers for the Art My Story part of the challenge.
